Resolutions?
I’ve never been one to make resolutions. It just seems silly to me to make promises to myself that I know I’m going to break. Though I do understand the reasons for it. Have a fresh new year in front of you, gives you the strength to want to change, at least for those first few days. Then reality sets in and you suddenly realize that life is going to get in the way of your goals and you must give up things you once loved in order to stay the course. My husband is not so much making a resolution this year as he is wanting to make a life change. We MUST start eating better as we’re all overweight (well except dollbaby) and not only is it no healthy it’s not good for our images.
So, I find myself at a crossroads. Because he has high cholesterol we can’t do the Atkins diet, so that means more fruits and veggies and less of everything I love. I have a feeling I’m going to get really cranky without my pasta and bread, but I’ll be losing weight because I hate most everything I’ll be having to cook…sigh! What about you guys, do you do resolutions and have you ever succeeded in achieving any?

I’m not usually one to make resolutions, but I find myself setting some goals this year - or at least thinking about things I’d like to accomplish in the next twelve months. One of them is much the same as yours. I need to spend a little extra time on the death machine I bought a while back (ie elliptical machine). It’s been a little neglected the past couple of months.
