Tonight my hubby’s band Dog eat Dog will be performing at the Whiskey Tango in Philadelphia. If you live in the area, come on down and see a fantastic AC/DC tribute band. I’ll be there too, running the video camera, so feel free to say hi. It’s sure to be loads of fun so don’t miss it if you don’t have to.

And the winner is…

My 1st book signing

Posted in Romance, Writing, books, fiction on May 22nd, 2008 by Administrator

In anticipation of my first print release- Beyond the Tears-as part of the Midsummer Night’s Steam, Sand, Sun and Sex Anthology I have set up my first book signing. Of course with this being my first ever author signing, you can probably guess that I’m a bit nervous. I’m also excited to finally be able to promote on of my stories in print.

So if you live in Southern New Jersey or the surrounding tri-state area and want to come out and say hi, mark your calendars for June 14th. I’ll be at the Echelon Town Center (formally the Echelon Mall) in Voorhees New Jersey at the Borderes Express. It’s on the bottom level just down from the food court. Drop by and say hi. I’d love to meet you!

Busy, busy, busy!

Sorry I’ve been absent recently. I’ve yet to find that perfect balance between working a ‘real job’, running the kiddos to band practice, karate, and soccer practice, marketing my releases, reading, spending time with my family, house cleaning and oh yeah…writing.

Actually, I haven’t been doing much writing lately. The muse is a bit finicky. She doesn’t like having to be creative after 9:00 at night, which unfortunately is usually the only time I have available for writing. Which means not much gets done. I’m hoping its just the ‘after finished book’ slump I usually go through and that my pesky muse will step up soon and push me to write. If not, it may be a very long time before my next book!

So, for you writers out there I ask… What time of the day is best for your muse? For you readers, when do you eek out the time to enjoy your favorite e-book or paperback and does anybody have any ideas for kicking my muse in the butt?

Moonlight Cancelled!

That’s right. Apparently CBS doesn’t care about what their viewing audience thinks. I along with a lot of other fans dedicated a lot of time and effort letting CBS know how much we loved this show, yet the word came down tonight. It’s done and apparently in the last episode Mick and Beth will be too. It’s a sad day for this Moonlight fan. I for one have no other reason to watch CBS and will happily give my TV viewing time (what little I have) to some other channel. If you’re a fan of moonlight upset by this turn of events I suggest you do the same. Write CBS and let them know you’re unhappy and you want moonlight back. Tell them you’re going to boycott if they don’t bring it back. If you’re a moonlight fan, don’t let this show go down without a fight!

My Author copies arrived!!!

Posted in Writing, books, e-books on May 13th, 2008 by Administrator

Friday night, after a day of being sick in bed, I drug myself out to take dollbaby to get ice cream. I’d promised her and I didn’t want to break that promise, despite not feeling well. I start to pull out of the drive and realize there’s a box wrapped in plastic on my deck. Squee!!!! It was my author copies of my soon to be print release ‘Beyond the Tears’. Actually, the books title is Sand, Sun and Sex. It’s an anthology for Samhain Publishing’s Midsummer Night’s steam series that was out in e-print last summer and will be released as 4 story print anthologies this summer.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the UPS driver who delivered the box. It rained like a bitch here all day that day and I don’t know how long the box sat on my deck, because I never heard the driver come. If he hadn’t had the presence of mind to put the box in plastic, the books would have surly been ruined.

MAY 29th, 2008 - Mark your calendars people. That’s the print release date for Sand, Sun and Sex. You’ll be able to order it on line or head to your local Borders or Walden books to pick up a copy. Trust me when I say the stories will keep your summer HOT!!!

Thank you, Anne!

I just have to say thank you to author Anne Douglas, who brought my .com address and my blog together in one nice little package. The site looks great and for this inept internet challenged author, I couldn’t have done it without you! So thanks!!!
