During the entire month of December, Samhain Publishing is having a free book a day give away. Just go to the Samhellion, which is their newletter to find the daily free reads. Mine, aptly titled Some Kind of Christmas (a supplement to my Samhain release Some Kind of Hero) is available on December 14th.

Also be sure to participate in this weeks scavenger hunt at Samhain as I’ll be giving away a copy of Some Kind of Hero as a prize.

I have a release date!

My story entitled Don’t Look Back and co-written with fellow author and friend Amanda Young is scheduled for release June 1, 2009 with Amber Quill Press. The paperback version will follow just a month or so later. I’m so very excited at the prospect of working with the great editors at Amber Quill and to see a story that Amanda and I worked very hard on make it into print. Stay tuned for more details!!!

Two great reviews for Sophie’s Secret!

SOPHIE’S SECRET intrigued me on many levels but I was especially interested in this storyline because of Logan’s struggle with diabetes and how he chooses to deal with it. Sophie’s desire to ‘have it all’ as far as sexual satisfaction in the bedroom and a responsible husband/father wrapped up in one man is a plight I think many women can relate with. Sophie and Logan seem like such close friends that it’s hard to imagine either of them with anyone else and I loved delving into their turmoil as their relationship goes from friends to lovers. Michelle Cary tells this story with great sensitivity and a lot of insight into the characters’ feelings and thoughts which makes it a pleasurable read.

Michelle Cary does a good job of explaining the relationship between Logan and Sophie. She goes even further by introducing other characters that are integral to the plot. Sophie is clearly the star of the show, and while she does not appear to be naturally submissive, she is quite willing to dabble in a little light BDSM. Logan, eager to please the woman he’s cared about for quite some time, gives in to her desire to have sex with two men and brings in Reese. While Logan enjoys seeing the look of lust on Sophie’s face, he’s not really sure about this whole ménage thing. I warmed up to Logan’s friendly personality and as Ms. Cary cleverly intended, feel his slight discomfort with the threesome. The sex throughout the story was steamy and erotic, and there are a few things you may want to try at home. I was eager to find out if this unexpected love story would be successful and couldn’t wait to finish it
