Back from Vacation
Posted in Life on August 20th, 2009 by AdministratorIt’s been a busy couple of weeks. I’ve had two books release and took a much needed family vacation. We went to Virginia, starting in Hampton at the Air and Space Museum and ended with a stop at Nora Robert’s book store in Boonesboro, Maryland called Turn the Page. Yep, in 5 days we crossed the state and I took more pictures than I know what to do with. As soon as I figure out how to post them I’ll share a few. I will be posting a few photos at my yahoo group Beyond the Romance if you’re interested. To be honest, the place was a bit of a disappointment. A lot of the displays were covered in plastic because the roof leaked, the outside observation deck was closed, one of the two simulator rides broke down as well as the IMAX movie they were going to show and the antique carousel was closed for renovations. I was a bit frustrated by all the issues the place seemed to have, but the kiddo’s still seemed to enjoy themselves. After that we went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. WOW the food was fantastic and the service was great. Talk about southern hospitality!
