My Fan Fiction

Fanfiction stories, fanfiction platforms, fandoms, fanfiction discussions, Janet Evanovich Fan Fiction links and fanfiction reviews.

If you read the paragraph on the My Books page first, you may have caught how I said that I stopped publishing original fiction. Notice how I didn’t say I stopped writing.  It wasn’t long after I stopped publishing that I discovered the world of fan fiction. With that discovery came a new passion.

My writing process

Like my original fiction, I gave the stories my all. Each story followed a formula. I spent a few days creating a plot and then a timeline. I took my time writing each chapter while keeping in mind of where to place chapter breaks. I’d set the chapter aside for a few days. Then I’d return to it for editing. This is when I did my best to eliminate as many punctuation and grammar errors as possible. Because of the nature of Fan Fiction, it must remain free to avoid copyright infringement and editors are expensive. With no financial return on my investment, a family to feed, and bills to pay…well you get the idea. I did my best to go it alone and make the stories as perfect as I could.

At first, it was enjoyable, and receiving positive feedback from readers made my day. However, much like with my art, I began to drift in and out of the FF world.

Platforms and fandoms

My first foray into Fan Fiction was on the Fan Fiction (dot) net platform in the Emergency! Television show fandom.

Then my interests shifted to the wrestling fandom and ‘The Shield’ era of the WWE.

Finally, not long after my renal failure diagnosis, I discovered the Stephanie Plum fandom. This is where have probably spent the most time as I used to love Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum books. Yes, I said used to love. I stopped reading her books somewhere around book number 25. My reasons for abandoning the series are best saved for a different discussion.

While writing in the Plum Fandom, I also discovered other platforms for posting my stories. Since the above-mentioned platform has become such a dumpster fire over the last few years, I’ve either taken down my stories completely or moved them over to Archive of Our Own (better known as AO3).

The below links will take you to a list of my fan fiction stories. From there, you will be able to click through to the AO3 site to read. You can read and leave kudos as a ‘guest’. However, you won’t be able to leave comments or reviews without joining the group and being signed in.
